HBADA X7 Smart Ergonomic Chair

So far the chair has been great. Ergonomics, comfort, massage, ventilation. Back pain is gone, no issues here. I am very happy with this chair, I just should of gotten it earlier.

Hbada X7 is an amazing chair. Solid and beautiful. Excellent craftsmanship. Well supportive. Not finicky like some other brands. Massage, heat and fan all working well and so quietly. Best of all- it’s all run on a rechargeable battery. No worries about cords that entangle. A few hours of charging at night lasts at least 3-4 days of use. Was easy to assemble. And they are so accessible through email. Very pleasant customer support group. Will recommend with confidence and pleasure to anyone who wants to make an investment in a great chair for their office.

Intrigued by its promise of dynamic support, heating, and massage, I chose the Hbada X7 after researching high-end ergonomic chairs. This is my detailed one-week review, covering everything from assembly to daily use.

Ordering and Delivery
I ordered the X7 via Amazon, and it arrived in about 10 days via FedEx. The single large box weighed around 82 lbs, requiring two people to move it indoors.

Assembly: A Bit of a Challenge
Assembly was manageable but challenging. The included Allen wrench made it difficult to apply the necessary force to fully tighten the back support screws, which seem to use a Loctite-like material. Connecting the electronics cable between the backrest and seat was also a tight fit. The remaining steps—attaching the base, wheels, arms, and headrest—were straightforward.

First Impressions: Build Quality and Feel
The assembled chair feels substantial and sturdy. The mesh is a standout feature—elastic yet firm, providing excellent support without the sag of cheaper chairs. Its thick, rubber-like texture feels durable. The winged back support moves laterally with you, and this dynamic support is enhanced in auto mode, where a motor actively adjusts the support as you shift.

High-Tech Features: The Main Event
The chair’s high-tech features are its main draw. The massage has three intensity levels, with level 3 being the most noticeable. The heating function, also with three levels, is built into the backrest wings and uses Red Light and Graphene technology. It produces a deep, intense heat, feeling hotter than a standard heating pad even on its lowest setting.

The seat cushion’s integrated cooling fans are excellent for staying cool during long work sessions. However, long-term maintenance is a concern, as there's no clear way to clean accumulated dust, and questions remain about water resistance or fan replacement. The integrated footrest is a welcome addition, with soft padding and a stable, wobble-free mechanism.

Ergonomics and Adjustability
The X7 offers extensive adjustability. The backrest, lumbar support, and headrest all move independently. The 4D armrests move in nearly every direction. They are made of a stiff, padded foam; a slight wiggle is present, which is typical for the locking mechanism on such adjustable arms.

The recline is smooth, with a secure locking mechanism. Though it lacks tension control, it’s easy to operate, and the lock is so solid it sometimes requires a little push on the backrest to disengage. Adjustable seat depth and a waterfall edge make the seat comfortable for taller users, preventing contact with the frame. However, the chair may not be ideal for very large individuals, as the armrests don't flare out to increase seat width.

Customer Service Experience
My chair arrived with a minor defect (a small hole), providing an early test of customer service. Contact is email-only, and responses suggest a support team in a different time zone. Despite this, they were responsive and resolved my issue quickly.

The Big Picture: Value and Concerns
At $1,350, the X7 offers a unique feature set—auto-adjusting back, massage, heat, and cooling—unmatched by pricier competitors. However, long-term viability is a concern. The 3-year warranty feels short for its price point, raising questions about longevity. Furthermore, there's no clear way to order spare parts like charging cables or accessories from their website.

Final Verdict (After One Week)
After one week, I love this chair. The ergonomics are fantastic, and the high-tech features genuinely improve comfort during long workdays. The automatic 45-minute massage is a great reminder to shift posture. The Hbada X7 provides incredible value, but this is balanced by the uncertainty of a newer brand and a short warranty. While I'm very happy with my purchase so far, long-term reliability remains to be seen.

It was ~$280 off a couple of days ago, I hope it can come again. Looking forward to it.

The massage and heat are strong; the reclined positions are nice. The upright is very upright, and requires the seat to be slid forward - an easy adjustment with the lever. The armrests, seat, headrest, and low back have a range of adjustments, so I have easily been able to find a sweet spot in each of the positions from upright to fully laid back. I've had the chair for two weeks now, work 8 plus hours in it each day, and notice I am sitting more correctly at the end of each day with reduced back and hip issues. I would not go back to my Herman Miller chair, although it was also nice, just missing features that make this a better all-day chair for me.
