    • Does an all-mesh seat stay comfortable through a full workday?

Yes — because mesh doesn't change. Foam packs into a permanent dip and holds heat by month three; the CloudMesh deck keeps day-one tension, spreads weight off the sit bones, and moves air continuously. Built for 4–8 hour days

    • The seat looks thin. Is there enough padding under me?

There's no foam, and that's the design — support comes from tension, not thickness. A thick cushion lets your pelvis roll backward within an hour; a tensioned deck holds it where you set it.

The front edge is woven looser so it flexes instead of pressing in, and the seat slides 2" (16.9"–18.9") to clear the back of your knee.

    • I'm 5'2" — will my feet reach the floor at the lowest seat height?

Possibly not — worth checking first. The seat bottoms out at 18.3" and adjusts up 3.4" from there.

Measure from the back of your knee to the floor in your usual shoes. Under 18.3", get the footrest version or a separate footrest — dangling feet are the most common reason a chair that fits on paper feels wrong.

    • How should I dial in the lumbar block when I first sit down?

Three steps: step the block up to your belt line (6 notches, 1.97"), push it forward until the wings touch without shoving you off the backrest (4 positions, 1.18"), then rotate the side wings to your width (3 positions, 40°).

Then leave it — a 12° spring track handles the rest as you move. Most people settle within a week. If you have an existing back condition, check with your healthcare provider on setup.

    • How low do the armrests go? My desk clearance is tight.

27" at the lowest, up to 33.1". At 27" they clear a standard 28"–29" desktop

They also travel 3.94" forward-back and rotate 360°. On a sit-stand desk, check its lowest position against 27" plus pad thickness.

    • I pushed the lumbar support up and it dropped back to the bottom. Did I break it?

No — the lumbar height is a press-to-cycle ratchet. Step it up notch by notch; once it passes the top it returns to the bottom so you can run the range again.

There's no knob or lever to tighten and nothing to lock. Just stop at the notch that sits at your belt line.

    • How is the E3 Air different from the E3 Pro 2026?

Shared: frame, 4D dual-axis headrest, CloudMesh seat, 3.15" backrest lift, press-to-cycle lumbar ratchet, steel base, SGS Class-4 gas lift, 5'1"–6'5" range, 330 lbs, warranty.

E3 Pro adds: 720° armrests with 26° flip-up, 0.39" more lumbar lift (2.36" vs 1.97") plus 1.18" of adaptive glide, 0.8" more seat depth.

E3 Air adds: armrests 1.3" lower for tight desks, 1.58" more armrest travel, a 12° spring track (vs 5°), one extra recline lock, 0.8" narrower footprint.

    • When will it ship, and how do I follow the delivery?

Ships within 1 business day, free by FedEx across the contiguous US and Canada, no minimum. Transit is typically 2–5 business days.

Your tracking number is emailed at label creation. No P.O. boxes; AK, HI, PR and Canada's northern territories are outside the free zone.

    • If I build it and don't like it, what does returning it cost me?

Assembling it voids nothing — the 30-day trial assumes you'll build it and sit in it.

Defective: costs you nothing. Changed your mind: a return shipping fee comes out of the refund. Either way, keep the original box — it's the one thing we can't replace.

Exact fee and terms: Return & Refund Policy.

    • Which parts are covered for 5 years, and which for 3?

5 years — base, gas lift, casters. 3 years — tilt mechanism, armrests, lumbar system, mesh.

The chair never ships back for repair. Email service@hbada.com or call +1 (866) 808-5708 with your order number and a short video; we diagnose remotely and send free parts with installation guidance.

Finally, a pink chair that isn’t just made for photographs

I nearly didn’t order this chair because I assumed the pink version would be more about appearance than ergonomics. Most pink chairs I found looked lovely online but offered very little beyond basic seat-height adjustment.
Before ordering, I contacted customer service to confirm the armrest configuration because some of the E3 images showed a different mechanism. They replied the same afternoon and explained that the pink model comes with 4D armrests, while the grey and black models use 6D armrests. I appreciated getting a clear answer before placing the order.
The colour is soft and slightly muted—not a bright gaming-chair pink. It looks a little cooler beside the window and warmer under my evening lamp, but both tones suit the white desk and pale wood furniture in my studio.
In everyday use, the three-zone lumbar support is the feature I notice most. I switch constantly between drawing on a tablet and typing, so I tend to lean forward and then sit back again throughout the day. The lumbar section stays in contact much better than the loose cushion I previously had tied to the back of my chair.
The 4D armrests are more than enough for my setup. I mainly adjust their height and angle when switching between drawing and using the keyboard. What made the pink version feel like particularly good value was that it includes a footrest at the same price as the grey and black versions without one. For me, the 4D armrests were a fair trade-off because I gained a feature I actually use without paying extra.
The headrest is mainly useful when I lean back during a call or take a short break. I use the footrest in much the same way—usually while waiting for a large file to export—and keep it tucked beneath the seat while I’m working.
I originally bought the chair because I wanted something that looked right in my home. The pleasant surprise is that the appearance is no longer the main reason I like it.

The mesh makes a real difference during warm afternoons

I ordered the E3 Air on a Monday evening and it arrived on Thursday. The tracking information updated properly, the packaging was intact and all the parts were clearly labelled. That was a good start.
The mesh seat was the first thing I noticed after assembly. It feels firmer than a foam cushion, so anyone expecting a soft, sinking seat should be aware of that. Personally, I prefer it. My old padded chair became warm after lunch and noticeably softer by the end of the day. The E3 Air stays much cooler and the support feels more consistent from morning to evening.
We recently had several hot days, and that was when the breathable mesh made the biggest difference. I still needed to turn on the air conditioning on warmer days, but I no longer felt as though I was sitting against a warm cushion for hours.
The headrest took a few attempts to position correctly because it offers more movement than the one on my previous chair. Once I moved it slightly lower and further back, it supported my neck without pushing my head forward.
If I had to choose one reason to keep the chair, it would be the mesh. It may not feel as soft during the first five minutes, but it makes far more sense after several hours at the desk.

One chair that works for both of us

I work from home most days, while my husband only uses the desk occasionally in the evening or at weekends. Our apartment is fairly small, so there was no point trying to fit two office chairs into the same room. We needed one that could be adjusted for both of us.
I’m 164 cm tall and my husband is 186 cm, so we definitely don’t use the same settings. I keep the seat shallower, the backrest lower and the armrests closer to my body. When he sits down, he extends the seat, raises the backrest and moves the lumbar support higher.
We have to adjust the chair manually when we swap over, but the controls are simple and it takes less than a minute to get it back to the way each of us likes it.We made a note of the positions we each prefer, which makes it easy for me to reset everything before starting work the next morning.
The armrests are particularly useful because we sit quite differently. I angle them slightly inwards while typing, whereas my husband prefers them wider and straighter.
We chose the Gray version without the footrest. I might have considered the footrest if we had a separate office, but in our apartment it made more sense to keep the area beneath and around the desk clear.
The chair is larger than our previous one, but having one adjustable chair is still far more practical than finding space for two. It feels properly set up for me during a full working day, and my husband can make it comfortable for himself whenever he needs the chair.

Excellent support and genuinely helpful customer service

I contacted HBADA before ordering because I couldn’t decide whether I needed the footrest version. Customer service asked how I intended to use the chair and explained that both versions offer the same core ergonomic adjustments. Since I mainly wanted it for focused desk work, I chose the grey model without the footrest.
The chair arrived in four business days. One corner of the outer carton was slightly marked, but everything inside was properly protected and undamaged.
The three-zone lumbar support is the feature that made the clearest difference for me. My previous chair had a hard pad in the centre of the backrest, and I was constantly moving it up and down. The support on the E3 Pro feels broader and follows smaller posture changes much more naturally.
It took some experimentation to find the right lumbar height and depth. Customer service had suggested adjusting the height first and then changing the depth, which was useful advice. Once positioned, I no longer felt the need to keep changing it throughout the day.
The grey colour looks clean and modern without making the chair stand out too much in the room. I also prefer the simpler appearance without the footrest because my desk area is relatively compact.
This was my first order from HBADA, and the combination of clear pre-purchase advice, quick delivery and effective lumbar support left a very positive impression.

The E3 Pro Has Made Long Workdays So Much Better!

I’ve been using the E3 Pro 2026 for just over seven weeks, normally for eight to ten hours on a weekday. I work as a software developer from home and spend most of that time switching between typing, video meetings and reviewing code on a second monitor.
The main reason I replaced my old chair was its fixed lumbar pad. It felt acceptable when I sat perfectly upright, but the support disappeared as soon as I leaned towards the keyboard or shifted slightly to one side. The three-zone lumbar system on the E3 Pro feels much broader and stays in contact more consistently when I move.
I’m 188 cm tall, so the adjustable seat depth was another important reason for choosing it. Moving the seat forward gives my thighs better support while still leaving space behind my knees. I also raised the backrest and adjusted the lumbar height before changing the lumbar depth. Doing everything at once was confusing, but adjusting one part at a time made it much easier to understand what each setting changed.
I ordered the grey version with the footrest. I don’t use it while working, but it is useful when I recline for ten minutes between longer meetings. The chair reaches a much deeper resting position than my previous task chair.
Assembly took about 25 minutes. Most of it was straightforward, though it would have been quicker with someone helping.

An Amazing chair that feels like sitting on a cloud!

I have never owned an office chair that has been as comfortable as the HBADA E3 Pro Ergonomic Office Chair! I highly recommend that anyone in the market for a new chair take a serious look into one.

    Fantastic for Neck & Back!

As other reviews have stated, the over all feel is an instant difference compared to other chairs. The way it adjusted to your body is fantastic. When I used this chair for the first time, it was the first time I ever got up from one of my gaming sessions without my back and neck hurting. My cats also avoid messing with it unlike other office chairs. Only things to be aware of are that this box and the parts are HEAVY when trying to set up- be ready for that. The instructions are also minimalistic which is fine except that I had a little bit of trouble understanding sent up for the foot rest. Read that portion carefully. Aside from these small observations, this is a must have!
