Received with the box busted up and big heavy scratches on the back metal support bar. The metal part looks rough and not smooth at all. The
casters don’t roll well on hardwood floor as compared to my other mesh chair. The X7 chair is heavy which I would expected. The fan under the seat doesn’t really do much for cooling even on high speed. But, the lumbar support is great which is a plus. I still think does it really worth $1300?
This chair isn’t worth your money, it’s literally the most uncomfortable chair I’ve ever owned. The seat is fine but the lower back support just digs deep into your back to the point where I would have to get out of the chair and lay flat on the ground and stretch to get rid of the pain it would cause in my lower back after 2 hours. My last chair I could game in for much longer. If you’re into torture as a form of sitting but this chair. It’s not worth 1200$ all the components that “adjust” don’t stay in their adjusted position. The head rest is the worst offender of this. The pivoting arm rests do nothing but click out of place. The only thing that stayed in place was the back rest, until you get out of the chair and try to move the brick on wheels the. It moves and resets. I’m in the process of returning mine and it took them 2 weeks to respond to me the first time. Now I’m sure I’m not going to get my money back even though I still have the same box it was shipped in. I knew it as soon as I sat in the chair I was going to return it. But gave it a few days to try and just adjust it to a better position. Not what happened at all. If I can save you from purchasing this then I’m happy. They asked me to keep it and they’d give me 200$ back absolutely not worth it at all. Do not buy. Just buy a Hermon miller if you’re already willing to spend the 1200$ on this POS
The massage and heat are strong; the reclined positions are nice. The upright is very upright, and requires the seat to be slid forward - an easy adjustment with the lever. The armrests, seat, headrest, and low back have a range of adjustments, so I have easily been able to find a sweet spot in each of the positions from upright to fully laid back. I've had the chair for two weeks now, work 8 plus hours in it each day, and notice I am sitting more correctly at the end of each day with reduced back and hip issues. I would not go back to my Herman Miller chair, although it was also nice, just missing features that make this a better all-day chair for me.
