It uses the same AI lumbar-tracking system as the X7 and adds three upgrades: foldable lumbar wings, genuine Alcantara® microfiber suede and a gunmetal aluminum finish. Massage, lumbar heating, seat ventilation and a retractable footrest are all built in.
Hall magnetic sensors detect shifts in your lower back, an automotive-grade processor samples your posture 1,000 times per second, and a linear motor moves the lumbar support to stay in contact with you. In Smart Mode, the chair also records your preferred lumbar position and intensity the first time you sit, then restores those settings each time you sit down. With Smart Mode off, tracking pauses and your preferences stay saved.
Both chairs share the same intelligent lumbar system, massage, heating and ventilation. The Prestige differs in three places: independent lumbar wings that fold inward, Alcantara® touchpoints, and a gunmetal finish across the backspine and five-star base. If you want the core smart features without these upgrades, the standard X7 or X7 Air covers them at a lower price.
Each lumbar wing rotates inward by up to 40°, closing along the lumbar line for a closer fit around the lower back across different body shapes. Alcantara® is a microfiber suede originally developed for high-performance car interiors; it is breathable, abrasion-resistant and soft to the touch. The gunmetal aluminum parts are anodized rather than painted or wrapped, so the color stays consistent from every angle.
Yes. The 8D dual-core massage extends for kneading and retracts when the session ends. Lumbar heating offers three levels between 118°F and 136°F, and two 3,000 RPM fans push air through the perforated seat in three ventilation modes. These features are intended for comfort during work breaks and reclined rest; they are not medical treatments.
You can adjust the lumbar response, lumbar wings, headrest, armrests, seat and recline. The 4D dual-axis headrest moves to meet your neck, and the 720° armrests follow you through typing, device use and reclining.
